BURLINGTON MUSIC STUDENTS LEAD BEAUTY AND THE BEAST



The Andover Community Theatre will feature several students and alumni from Burlington public schools with its fall production of "Beauty and the Beast." The performances will be held at the West Middle School, 70 Shawsheen Road, Andover, MA, on Friday, November 13 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, November 14 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 15 at 2:00 pm.

Leading the cast as The Beast is Nishan Ovian, a 2008 graduate of BHS. Sharing the role of Belle are Danielle Sosnowski (BHS class of 2003 and daughter of Francis Wyman 1st grade teacher Tina Sosnowski) and Amanda Potts (Burlington schools music teacher and BHS class of 2004 and daughter of Pine Glen teacher Karen Potts). Zaven Ovian plays opposite his brother in the role of The Beast’s arch rival Gaston (BHS class of 2012), and Mia Campbell (Fox Hill 4th grader) plays everyone’s favorite little tea cup, Chip, on Friday evening and Saturday matinee performances. Cast as the Corkscrew is Jill Maguire (Class of 2003), and Sarah Cadarette (Class of 2003) is in the ensemble.

General admission tickets for "Beauty and the Beast" are available online at www.actandover.com, by phone at 971-276-0568 or through the Burlington cast members. Ticket prices are $15 for students and senior citizens and $20 for adults. West Middle School is handicapped accessible.
