Burlington High School student musicians don't just limit their performances to BHS where they learn their instrument and are prepared for a variety of performance opportunities. Their talents extend to communities outside of Burlington and because of this we will feature some of these students on occasion with a few words about their accomplishments.
On Saturday, October 10, a large group of Burlington students packed into cars and vans and headed to Worcester to support Patrick Hanafin (far right in picture) and his band, Undertow, as they performed at the Palladium in the “Next Big Thing,” an all-day concert featuring up and coming alternative and punk rock bands. Pat is a percussionist with the Burlington High School Marching Band and is also a member of the Jazz Ensemble. Featured on the main stage, Undertow attracted a huge amount of attention as they played, outshining other bands who were also performing.
Congratulations to Pat and all the members of Undertow on a fabulous show at the Palladium!
