The New England Tenors: A Bit of Heaven on Earth

Music is God's gift to man, the only art of Heaven given to earth, the only art of earth we take to Heaven.
 Walter Savage Landor

The Burlington High School Music Boosters' Gala Benefit Concert and Silent Auction is just over a week away. Our guest performers this year are The New England Tenors who are fresh off their triumphant sold-out premiere performance at the Ashworth By The Sea in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. This will be an evening of perfection, a little bit of heaven on earth!

The evening's program will not only feature The New England Tenors with John Middleton-Cox, Ray Bauwens and Damien Corcoran, accompanied by Alan Freedman, but will also showcase our own Burlington High School Chorus and Select Singers. Selections for the benefit will include songs from West Side Story and The Secret Garden and some old favorites that will become new again,  including You Raise Me Up, O Danny Boy, Time To Say Goodbye and Amazing Grace.

Intermission will feature our Silent Auction during which a festive pastry buffet will be served, genorously donated by Delicious Desserts, The Hilton Garden Inn, La Cascia's, Roche Brothers, Shaws, Stop N Shop Lexington, Stop N Shop Bedford, and True North. (A complete list of silent auction items will appear here next week.)

Join us on Saturday, November 6, 2010, for a magical evening that you will never forget. Tickets are available now at http://www.burlingtontickets.org/. For more information, call 781-A-FUN-TIC.

See you  in the clouds!
